Continuing Education

Beginning January 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST, Anesthesia Black will host live, 1-hour anesthesia lectures on the fourth Saturday of each month through December 2026. This RACE approved, 12-course lecture series,  Foundations of Small Animal Anesthesia, is designed for veterinarians looking to solidify their anesthesia skills or for the general practice technician looking to become anesthesia focused.  Course content strongly emphasizes practical, case-based decision-making that can be applied immediately in clinical practice.  Taught by both boarded anesthesiologist and VTS-Anesthesia & Analgesia specialty technicians, participants will gain a wide lens view anesthesia management from multiple members of the anesthesia care team. 


What to Expect

RACE-approved CE credit for each 1-hour live session (certificate provided after attendance).  Earn up to 12 credit hours throughout 2026.


Actionable, clinically focused topics in small-animal anesthesia, from peri-operative planning to post-operative pain management, and all facets in between during an anesthetic event.


Interactive live format with dedicated Q&A time to address real-world clinical questions
